Mentions légales

What French law asks every website to state: who publishes it, how to reach them, and who hosts it.

Publisher
The maintainer of Spawner, Flosk6 on GitHub: a private individual who publishes this site on a non-professional basis. As article 1-1, II of the French law of 21 June 2004 on confidence in the digital economy (loi pour la confiance dans l’économie numérique, LCEN) allows, the publisher’s name and address are not shown here: the publisher gave them to the host, as that article requires.
Contact
Through GitHub: an issue for a question about this site or Spawner, or a private report for a security vulnerability, as the security policy describes.
Host
Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States. Phone: +1 (650) 319-8930. cloudflare.com

Privacy

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking script. It loads nothing from another site: its fonts, images and search index are files of spawner.run. Links to GitHub, npm and other sites take you there only when you follow them.

What your browser keeps

Two settings, which stay on your device and are sent to no one: the theme you pick, light or dark, in the browser’s local storage (under the key starlight-theme); and on documentation pages, which groups of the sidebar are open and where it is scrolled, in its session storage, which the browser empties when you close the tab. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes both.

What the host processes

To deliver each page and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare handles the technical data of every request: the IP address it comes from, the address asked for, the browser’s user agent and the time. It does so on the publisher’s behalf, and keeps this data as its privacy policy describes; for data that leaves the European Union, Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The publisher keeps no logs of its own and does not combine this data with any other. This processing rests on the publisher’s legitimate interest in serving the site and keeping it secure (article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can ask for access to the data about you or for its erasure, and object to its processing, through the contact above; beyond what Cloudflare processes, the publisher holds none. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
